CRDN’s corporate leadership includes individuals with decades of experience in the insurance and restoration industries. Universally recognized as industry thought-leaders and developers of the textile restoration category, we are called upon to implement training sessions and seminars for insurance companies and disaster specialists, including PLRB and others. CRDN executives also have conducted numerous speaking engagements at insurance and drycleaning/laundry conferences in the U.S., Canada and Europe.

CRDN’s expertise extends beyond fire, smoke and water damage. Recognizing the impact of a wide variety of contaminants on a loss site—including tear gas, asbestos and various chemicals—CRDN has commissioned studies on mold to verify the effectiveness of restoration and cleaning processes. Based on this experience, CRDN has authored numerous articles for notable insurance publications and provided expert witness testimony.

Meet the team:

Wayne M. Wudyka, Chief Executive Officer

A recognized expert, innovator and leading authority in the insurance restoration industry, Wayne is the founding partner of CRDN and has been CRDN’s Chief Executive Officer since its launch in mid-2001.  Additionally, he has been President of Huntington Cleaners in Huntington Woods, Mich., since 1992, and Wesch Cleaners in Birmingham, Mich., since 2009.  In mid-2012, Wayne purchased the 1-800-DryClean franchise system, a national home/office retail drycleaning pick-up and delivery business.

Bob Fearon, President

As president of CRDN, Bob directs the Home Office team, guiding operations, marketing, on-site assistance and consultative services. Over the years, he has been instrumental in the development of the organization’s Operations and Program Management Departments.  For the decade prior to joining CRDN, Bob served in several roles for an insurance restoration contractor, including Quality Service Representative, Field Trainer, Division General Manager and Regional Manager.

Paul M. Wiljanen, Executive Vice President

Paul joined CRDN in 2001 and has been responsible for the organization’s franchise development across North America. He previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer of 1-800-Dryclean, LLC, from the time of its inception in 1999.

Ross Kollenberg, Executive Vice President

Ross joined CRDN in 2010 as a National Sales & Operations Manager, and became Associate Vice President of Operations in 2014. He has managed CRDN sales teams across the United States, integrating national and regional efforts at the local level.  Previously, he was a construction and mitigation manager for a Michigan-based specialty cleaning and restoration company.

Skip Starr, Chief Marketing Officer

In 2014, Skip joined CRDN after many years leading his own advertising and marketing firm in Southeast Michigan. His experience in creating, managing and marketing brand identities for hundreds of companies began in the automotive industry and have included many successful B-to-B and B-to-C clients in many different industries.

Jeffrey A. Schultz, Vice President of Communication

Jeff has been involved with CRDN since its launch in 2001. He joined the management team at the beginning of 2005 and oversees communication for CRDN including marketing, internal/external strategy and media relations.

David Bonnar, Canadian National Sales Director

Dave Joined CRDN in early 2015 after six years as a business development executive for two national restoration organizations. He also spent nearly a decade in the insurance industry. Dave works with Canadian insurance carriers and restoration contractors, and he serves as a leader for CRDN's Canadian franchises.

Michael S. Ewles, Director of Information Technology

Mike was named Director of IT for CRDN in March 2011. He previously served as managing director of IT at the world’s leading market research firm focused on clean tech innovation.

Shawn Fair, Director of Training

Shawn is a highly motivated and results-driven training executive and motivational speaker with more than 18 years of leadership experience in organizational development, training and multi-unit retails sales management.

Jessica McGrath, In-House Counsel

Jessica joined CRDN in January 2010 as Associate General Counsel and provides all aspects of in-house legal services including franchise disclosure documentation and administration of all internal legal compliance matters. Jessica graduated summa cum laude from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2004 with a B.S. in Business Administration and concentration in International Business. She received her Juris Doctorate and Masters of Business Administration, cum laude, from University of Detroit Mercy, class of 2007.
